My old man is another

LYRICS 'Angel from Montgomery'
I am named after my mother. I grew up in Dallas. I have recently moved back after a 27-year hiatus. I am a substitute teacher. I have four children. I live in the best neighborhood in the best city in the best state in the best country. I am so blessed for that. Family, community, education, creativity, love, laughter, beauty and inspiration are everything to me. I have a bachelor's degree in economics and a master's degree in Community and Regional Planning, with specializations in both physical planning and community development, all from The University of New Mexico.
My areas of study combine social, environmental, political, economic and cultural landscapes to form theories of best practices and procedures which are primarily given by assigning weights of importance to a current space and time's morals, values and social norms. Each of the different landscapes' moral, values and social norms are under a constant state of ebb and flow.
So with all the ebbs and flows, what is constant?
We are! Humans are, and our symbiotic relationships with all that is around us, both with the natural and built environments.
I am committed to doing my best to honor myself, my truth and enjoy life, in all of its layers and dimensions. I have a saying, let life be your life coach which means I don't always get it right, but sometimes I do, but I learn from it. Sometimes dig deep on it; reflect on it. Regroup and carry on. That's life. I do want to share with you the parts I have gotten right in order to hopefully improve your life for the better, whether it is self-care, organization, inspiration or a space to be ridiculous.
Stay ridiculous. Stay beautiful. Stay inspired. but above else, Stay true.

About Climbing Maslow
Climbing Maslow is a business based on the principles founded by Maslow in the 1940s and later revised in the 1960s and 1970s. Maslow, also, understood that we are constantly being shaped by our social, political, cultural, environmental landscapes.
He also understood that we have a desire to constantly be a better version of our ourselves. His study of ebb of flow was described to be the product of oneself to ourselves, to others, to our environment and to the spiritual.

Climbing Maslow wants to be a place to shop, learn, create, heal and grow.
One step at a time, up the rungs of the pyramid ... maybe two steps forward and one step back. However it goes. We are all exactly where we are supposed to be. I am excited for us to grow together, individually and as a community.
